How does she do it? Uber-groomed Olivia Palermo manages to look sophisticated, fashion-forward and youthful all at the same time.

Pictured at New York's Lincoln Centre, the new home of New York Fashion Week, the reality TV star practiced the fine art of stylish layering while rubbing shoulders with fellow fashion heavy-weights, Anna Wintour, Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors.

Where anyone else would look ridiculous teaming a chunky leather coat with leather leggings and a big belt, Palermo looks the height of elegance-with-just-enough-edge. I think the secret ingredient is those towering YSL Tribute heels...
