Fearne Cotton says yes to fake fur

Fashion's free spirit Fearne Cotton knows how to work an individual look without overdoing it. Photographed looking comfortable and cosy in London's Oxford Street, her glamorous winter outfit consists of harem pants, lace-up boots and a luxe velvet jacket. On anyone else this would spell disaster but Fearne's monochrome colour palette makes it all work.

A supersized furry hat is this winter's essential headwear. Elle McPherson and Kate Hudson wear the real deal but Fearne has opted for fake. According to Peta (The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), Fearne is one celebrity who is resolutely anti-fur.
