At last! Robbie Williams pops the question

Finally, an end to the 'are they or aren't they' saga of Robbie Williams and girlfriend Ayda Field. After a false start when Robbie proposed live on Australian radio then claimed he was joking, it seems the sparkler is well and truly on the finger.

The ring was spotted by eagled eyed paps in California as Robbie played in an annual England versus Scotland football match in Los Angeles while Ayda cheered him on.

And they're already planning a football team of mini-Robbies. 'That's definitely on the agenda,' Robbie told Closer magazine. 'Little monkeys running around! It's about time - I've had a good innings.'
