The Hills' Whitney Port and Roxy Olin reveal the perils of the micro mini

The cast of The Hills braved the cold East Coast weather to hit the MTV studios in New York, and give us a run down of what those crazy LA kids are wearing these days. We can only assume that micro minis are back, with both Whitney Port and Roxy Olin flashing miles of leg in the teeniest of dresses.

However, we're not sure the girls are quite on the style ball here. Roxy has entirely ignored the golden rule of wearing over-the-knee boots - don't flash a load of leg with them unless you want the 'Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman' effect.

Whitney on the other hand is entirely underdressed for a New York winter in a micro mini, sandals and a fake fur bomber jacket. Which leaves us with the biggest question of the day - why isn't she sporting blue knees and corned beef legs by now?
