Taylor Momsen jealous of Leighton Meester's singing success

It's claws out and handbags at dawn on the Gossip Girl set! According to Hollywoodlife.com, Taylor Momsen is getting increasingly jealous of Leighton Meester's recent success as a singer.

Taylor has her own band The Reckless, however Leighton is the only cast member being musically recognised by the Gossip Girl producers. Taylor is less than happy with a development, as a source on set revealed: "Taylor is not happy that Gossip Girl has been playing Leighton's music on the show, and they have never asked to play any of her songs. It's creating a lot of tension on set."

However, the show's producers have justified their bias by saying that Taylor's music simply aint good enough yet: "The show will support Taylor and her music when the time is right, but her music is not ready yet."

Not sure if that's going to make things better or worse...
