Robert Pattinson's fans launch protest against paparazzi intrusion

Robert Pattinson's fans have staged an online protest against the continued paparazzi intrusion in his life.

The protest was launched after shots emerged of R-Patz leaving the Hard Rock Café over the weekend, only to be mobbed by a huge crowd of paparazzis. Rob was forced to shield his face with his hands before being bundled into a car by waiting minder.

In response, more than 600 fans have posted pictures of themselves with their hands covering their faces online. Some of the statements posted online read: 'We want the paps to know that we don't want to see pics like these, so stop taking them.'

'Stop invading his private life. Enough is enough. Because no person deserves this, celebrity or not.'

'There are limits and you have gone too far. He doesn't want this, neither do we!'

Lets see if people power is enough to give The Robster a break from the press...

I am an older fan of both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and I have had enough of the Papparazzi!!! Fans who see the Papparazzi hounding any/all actors/actresses/musicians/etc. should all jump in the way of their cameras, just to let them know THE FANS HAVE EVEN HAD ENOUGH OF THE PAPPARAZZI, destroying and invadeing the private lives of these very famous and talented people, who only want to enjoy their private space!!!! I honestly believe THE UNITED STATES SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO BAN ALL PAPPARAZZI,as they are doing nothing but STALKING!! What they do is not freedom of the press!!! These Papparazzi destroy the lives of the most talented people Heath Ledger comes to mind as he was forced into drugs due to the constant hounding of the Papparazzi, and lets not forget Princess Diana, along with so many other lost soles. They are entertainers not circus animals and I for one have had enough, of watching their misery, due to the PAPPARAZZI!!!
