Lindsay Lohan's father claims Leonardo DiCaprio is keeping her on the straight and narrow

Lindsay Lohan's found a new BFF in Leonardo DiCaprio, and according to her father Michael (the one she doesn't actually talk to), Leo is a 'positive influence' on her wayward daughter.

Talking to Hollyscoop, Michael said: "Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Leonardo DiCaprio and a few others...I think they have a lot of positive things to offer."

Michael also added that the actors are a 'lot more stable' than most of the friends in Lindsay's life.

That's all well and good, but we're still not entirely sure why Lindsay's father has appointed himself as her official spokesperson...
