Lindsay Lohan tries to pretend she's not being sued by a bunch of humanitarians

Looks like someone had a quiet word in Lindsay Lohan's ear recently as she's been laying off the slap somewhat, and looks about ten years younger for it.

Snapped leaving a Beverly Hills lunch just a couple of days after returning from India, where she was filming a documentary and doing her yearly round of good deeds, Li-Lo shook off reports that she's actually being sued by the NGO she worked with in India.

Lindsay was quick to write all over her Twitter page about a rescue operation that took place a few days earlier: "Over 40 children saved so far... Within one day's work... This is what life is about... Doing THIS is a life worth living!!! Oh, and I'm talking about being in India."

However, the implication that she was involved personally has enraged humanitarians, who are threatening legal action. According to The Sun, Bhuvan Ribhu - national secretary of the Non-governmental Organization said:"The rescue operation took place on December 8 when she had not even arrived in India.

"Since she was not even in the country how can she claim she rescued the children?

"The raid was done by the Delhi government on a complaint launch by the NGO. We will now sue her for misinterpretation of facts, breach of trust and plagiarism of cause."

Yep, so Lindsay's ability to wind up everyone she goes near continues unabated...
