Cheryl Cole threatens to quit the X Factor

On the back of Joe McElderry winning the X Factor last night, Cheryl Cole is threatening to quit the X Factor now this year's series is at an end.

Cheryl has told boss Simon Cowell that she may concentrate on starting a family next year, saying she'd like 'time off with the family, the dogs and just rest I suppose,' but insiders claim that she's actually planning to move to America to pursue a solo career.

With reports also emerging that Dannii Minogue is also planning to leave, next year's X Factor could end up being the Simon and Louis show - and where would be the fun in that???
