Victoria Beckham's love of high heels might land her in surgery

Victoria Beckham's love of high heels has left her in constant pain, and may even have left her needing foot surgery.

According to the Daily Mail, Victoria is doing everything she can do avoid the surgery, except actually wearing flat: "Victoria calls her feet 'the bane of my life'', but she is worried about having the operation because she fears they will compromise her ability to wear heels and ruin her stylish look.

"She puts up with the pain, but the doctor has told her she seriously needs to consider a bunionectomy or ditch the heels for a few months to let the inflammation calm down. She has not got that long to decide what to do."

VB is taking the fashion victim thing a step (snicker) too far - but we're sure a nice pair of Lanvin ballet pumps will be ample consolation while she gives her poor feet a break.
