Twilight director claims that Rob and Kristen are in a relationship

Twilight's director has admitted that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are in a relationship.

Despite being snapped this week holding hands, the pair are yet to admit the long-rumoured relationship, so Catherine Hardwicke has decided to do it for them.

Talking to Time Magazine, Hardwicke said that Kristen took her time deciding whether or not to date the Robster (not entirely sure what there would be to think about there!), 'In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.'

She then added ''I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.'
Being the caring director that she is, Catherine also gave Rob some advice on not going for jailbait (Kristen was only 17 when they started filming the first film): 'After I cast him, I told Rob, Don't even think about having a romance with her. She's under 18. You will be arrested.'

Fortunately for us all, Rob managed to keep it in his pants long enough for Kristen to turn legal.
