The new Sugarbabes find their feet on Radio One

The Sugarbabes (the original new ones, if you see what I mean), but all their recent woes to one side for a swift appearance on Radio One on Friday.

You can sort of tell the state of play by their footwear. Heidi, an old hand at line-up changes and tabloid bashing is wearing a pair of relatively nondescript, but stylish ankle boots. Like Ronseal, they do exactly what it says on the tin.

Jade, the newest member of the ever changing trio has opted for the most ostentatious shoes - a pair of peep toe ankle boots that sort of make her feet like their encased in bandages. She's probably still excited enough by an appearance to Radio One to think it's worth dressing up, having spent the first few months of her career not-quite performing live and releasing the occasional press release.

Finally, poor old Amelle Berrabah is possibly still feeling a little worse for wear after recent treatment for nervous exhaustion. We know this because she's wearing knitted Ugg boots, which are all very nice and comfortable, but are only ever worn outside of the house if you're going to the garden centre or have a hangover.
