Nicole Richie admitted to hospital with pneumonia

Poor Nicole Richie was admitted to hospital yesterday suffering from pneumonia.

Her spokesperson told Usmagazine.com said that the 28-year-old mother of two is in the care of medical staff at Ceders Sinai and is 'doing well'.

Nicole wrote on her Twitter page that she had been battling a cold which forced her to miss the launch of her House of Harlow jewellery range at Bebe in LA. Friends have previously expressed concern that Nicole was doing too much following the birth of her second child, Sparrow, in September.
