Natalie Portman goes bland for the ballet
Natalie Portman hit the New York ballet dressed as... erm someone's mum by the looks of things.
Wearing what's actually a very nice Vena Cava frock, Natalie looked drowned by the funny length (mid calf looks great on supermodels, but is tricker on mere mortals, especially if you're 5' 3" like Natalie).
Edgy accessories might have saved the mumsy length, but Natalie played it safe with a sparkly evening bag and black heels, neither of which are particular offensive. However, the end result is nondescript, a bit bland and really doesn't do Miss Portman justice...
