Mariah Carey diva claims put GMTV bosses in a spin

Looks like Mariah Carey's alleged diva-dom has everyone in a spin over at GMTV.

After Mariah appeared on the show last week, GMTV presenter Kate Garraway wrote in her magazine column that Ms Carey was indeed a nightmare guest: "I've heard rumours about her being a diva. Turns out it's all true. While Mariah was nice, her entourage outnumbered the GMTV crew."

She also claimed that the singer was carried into her chair to avoid creasing her dress and bought her own loo roll.

However, GMTV bosses are reportedly furious with Kate and have ordered her to apologise. A source told the Mirror: "What Kate claimed wasn't true and it has caused big problems backstage. The huge entourage was actually a choir and musicians used by Mariah. When stars come to be interviewed on GMTV they don't expect this. Even worse, what Kate wrote wasn't true."

Hmm, we wonder if Mariah's 'people' had a quiet word with the GMTV bosses. After last week's kitten and dove extravaganza, we think it's safe to say the singer has her moments...
