Lindsay Lohan was dating Heath Ledger at the time of his death

Lindsay Lohan's mother and father continue to vie for the role of world's worst parent this week with her mother inadvertently revealing that Lindsay was dating Heath Ledger at the time of his death in January of this year.

This latest revelation was revealed in the latest in a series of taped phone conversations by or about Lindsay released by her father Michael. In it, Dina Lohan says to her says to her husband: "And she was dating Heath when he died, I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?"

Dina also adds that she too is worried about Lindsay's fragile state, particularly in light of Heath's death: "Because when she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking."



Michael is apparently releasing these tapes in an attempt to force Lindsay to get help for an addiction to prescription drugs. Lindsay, meanwhile, has branded her father a 'lunatic.' The question on all our lips, however, is quite how much more dirty laundry has this family got to air?
