Eva Mendes does sequins - without having a Pat Butcher moment

Eva Mendes was sporting what appears to be the perfect festive dress on the red carpet this week, but be warned, get it wrong and you'll look like Pat Butcher on a knees-up.

Snapped at the premiere of Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans' film premiere, Eva kept her hair and makeup relaxed, and avoids going overkill on the accessories.

Finally, Eva knows that if you're going to go for all-over sequins, tone them down with bare legs of black opaque tights and black heels - you want to look like Christmas Cracker, not a badly wrapped present...
