Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $6.8 million to charity in 2008

Despite having a million mouths of their own to feed, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated a whopping $6.8 million to charity in 2008.

The philanthropic pair, who reportedly planning to adopt baby number seven from Syria, donated money to various charities last year, including $50,000 to schools in Brad Pitt's native Mossouri and $1 million to projects in Cambodia, where the pair's adopted son Maddox is from. Meanwhile Human Right Watch ad Pitt's Make it Right Foundation, which helps build new homes in New Orleans received $1 million a piece.

It was recently reported that Brad turned down a $5 million public appearance to go trick or treating with the kids - he's going to have to up his game if he wants to keep his charitable contributions into next year...
