Peter Andre and Mel B 'getting close'

Peter Andre's admitted that he's been hanging out with his ex girlfriend Mel B in recent weeks. This hideous celeb pairing has come after artist formerly known as Scary Spice comforted Peter after his divorce from Katie Price.

Don't rip your own skin off in disgust quite yet though, writing in his column for New magazine, Peter assures us that their relationship is purely platonic.

"I've seen Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte a lot over the last few weeks and I'm pleased to say that we're getting close again. I find her hilarious and really enjoy her company. Stephen is great, too, and they're really well matched. Who says you can't be friends with your exes, eh?"

Ugh, next thing you know, the pair will announce their secret love for each other and the whole circus will start again. Possibly around the time one of them has a single due out...
