Katie Holmes gets thoroughly wrong-footed in the style department

What the devil's going on with Katie Holmes here? It looks a bit like she sacked her stylist earlier in the day, hung out with daughter Suri all day and then realised ten minutes before she left the house that she had nothing to wear so pulled something out of the bottom of the wash basket.

To be fair, we've all done it, but not to a blooming red carpet event. She's also abandoned her usually demure style and opted for a sheer top in an all-advised attempt to be racy. Not sure what hemline's all about either...

Of course, it doesn't help matters that we've decided to use a pic where she's inexplicably standing like a rugby player either. Sorry Katie, our bad.
