Karl Lagerfeld shows off his standard style uniform in Dusseldorf

Karl Lagerfeld hot-footed it back to his native Germany for the We Love Hair Schwarzkopf exhibition in Dusseldorf this week.

We say this picture was only taken this week, but we can't be entirely sure - Karl's looked exactly the same for a good ten years now. Much like Michael Jackson and the Queen Mother before him, Karl has developed his own particular uniform and sticks to it at all costs.

The advantage of this is that you never get caught out with tricky new trends (this is why you've never seen Mr Lagerfeld in a playsuit). The downside is that people can rarely tell you apart from your Madame Tussauds waxwork. Particularly when you've also lost the ability to emote.
