Diane Kruger looses her red carpet mojo without Joshua Jackson

We always thought Diane Kruger could do no wrong on the red carpet - however we're not sure that's strictly true anymore.

Diane was snapped at the Hollywood Film Awards last night (alongside Nicholas Hoult) looking a bit underwhelming in a shapeless white dress with a bizarre train.

Looking a bit like a half-hearted bride, she added nude lace-up heels to the ensemble. The overall effect was that she couldn't decide if she wanted to look ethereal, vintage or rock chic so opted for a mangled combination of all three.

We wonder if squeeze Joshua Jackson is the secret to Diane Kruger's red carpet mojo? She always looks fantastic when she's snapped with him - they even turn up in matching accessories. Come to think of it, we always assumed this was her idea, but maybe we were wrong...
