Once she'd been spotted watching the Ashes, been interviewed by a cricket pundit and caused all sorts of a furore over her love of the ultimate gentleman's sport, Lily Allen was faced with no choice but to keep pretending she was really interested in cricket.

Snapped in a private box with Mick Jagger, Tim Rice and boyfriend Sam Cooper at a one day England vs Australia game at Lords, Lily manages to maintain her enthusiasm levels throughout the day.

She's still not entirely sure of the rules, but she's discovered that by standing up and cheering every time the ball makes a satisfying thwack against the bat, she looks like a seasoned pro.
