Jay-Z signs up for Team Kanye

Looks like Team Kanye has one member at least - none other than Beyonce's husband Jay Z. In an interview with BBC Radio, Jay-Z said that the whole thing has been blown out of proportion.

"I think it's a bit blown out. It was pretty rude. At the end of the day, we're gonna celebrate him for his passion more than vilify him. As he grows and matures, he has to balance that."

He also admitted that the whole thing was just a tad rude, "Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that's the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they're treating him...He's on the cover of every paper. He didn't kill anybody. No one got harmed."

Hmmm, this reasoned defence of Kanye West wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that Beyonce, Jay-Z's wife, came out of the whole debacle as the Mother Teresa of the music industry would it?
