Fans face grave disappointment as Coldplay cancel gig

Are Chris Martin and co having a spot of trouble? Coldplay cancelled a gig in Florida last night - just days after it was reported that tickets for the band's US tour were going for 60p.

We know that fans who splashed out with such decadence are bound to be disappointed, but please consider that the boys are only human and get sick just like the rest of us - even with the help of Gwyneth Paltrow and her nutritional website.

"We're sorry to report that Coldplay have been forced to postpone their show at the Ford Amphitheatre," a spokesperson wrote on the band's website. "This is due to medical reasons."

Let's hope Coldplay fans don't take cancellations as badly as Katie Price fans -they don't want a paper massacre on their hands... All of those 60 pences might add up to a lot.
