If the guests at Phillip Lim's first anniversary bash in LA are anything to go by, all fashion magpies will be heading for metallics next season...

Having made it from TV to the silver screen, it was quite apt that Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson went for a bit of shine at the in-store party - and very lovely they looked too (no coincidence; little known fact, they both share the same super-stylist, Nicole Chavez).

It's not necessarily one to try at home, but the former OC star manages to avoid all Baco-foil references thanks to her petit frame, enviably glossy locks and classy Louboutins, while the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress's high-shine skirt and mega-watt smile ensure that everyone will remember the name Kristen Bell.
