Well that didn't last long - Lauren Conrad might have had her tresses darkened for a Harper Bazaar shoot last month, but she's already gone back to her trademark blonde. Do brunettes really have that little fun?

The reality star turned bestselling author was spotted out in LA yesterday making the most of her independence while the current Hills cast are gearing up to have the cameras follow them once more - even Kristin Cavallari, who has just been confirmed for another series.
