We've all baffled over why Jennifer Aniston dated John Mayer earlier this year, but maybe this finally explains a few things...

According to reports, the 40-year-old actress has signed up to star in Pumas - a film about thirty something ladies wooing younger men, so the whole Mayer debacle must've just been for research, right?

The Friends star has described the movie as a female Wedding Crashers, while the film she's currently shooting, Bounty Hunter, is being compared to Mr & Mrs Smith. Not sure how she did research for this flick about an ex-couple seeking revenge on each other - pouring over pictures of Brad perhaps? Judging by the smile she spotted on set yesterday, things are going very well.
