Rachel McAdams works city chic in New York

If Rachel McAdams hasn't been on our style radar much recently then she certainly should be.

She was snapped in New York yesterday looking quite the Hollywood Starlet in an Audrey Hepburn style shift and grey coat. She also earns kudos for keeping the look young and fresh with a flash of colour in her belt and a messy up-do.

That said, her new style icon might well be Felicity Kendall in The Good Life as Rachel, who stars in upcoming flick State of Play with Russell Crowe, recently told Marie Claire magazine.

"I think one thing that kids who grow up on farms really have going for them is they have exposure to death and birth in a totally different way. I think it takes away a little bit of the mystery and a little bit of the fear. I do wish I had that. And I wish I was able to grow my own food."
