Michelle Obama gets her hands dirty

There's always a few jobs you save for the Easter holiday, so it wasn't entirely surprising to see Michelle Obama showing her green fingers in the White House garden, although you do have to wonder why she didn't rope in Barack for a bit of help with the digging - or at least Malia and Sasha.

America's First Lady certainly took the job seriously, shunning her usual classy wardrobe for a cagoule and trainers.

Bet you'd never see Carla Bruni getting her hands so dirty.
