Robert Pattinson might not attend the launch, but Twilight DVD sales still reach 3 million on first day

Is a Twilight event really a Twilight event if Robert Pattinson isn't there? Some would say no, but there was still a launch bash to mark the DVD release, which attracted some of the film's lesser known stars Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Rachelle Lefevre. Rob was probably busy barricading his front door to keep all his screaming fans out.

His mob won't need to stalk the Brit actor anymore anyway - not now that they can own their very own copy of the DVD. Unsurprisingly, the romantic vampire sensation, which has grossed $380 million in theaters since its November release, sold more than 3 million copies in its first day on the shelves.
