Vivienne Westwood fails to recognise Kanye West

This must be a bit of a dent in Kanye West's seemingly bash-proof ego...

According to reports, Vivienne Westwood failed to recognise the rapper when the pair were introduced after her fashion week show.

"Kanye went straight over to Vivienne and began telling her he was a huge fan and he had enjoyed her show," a source told thelondonpaper. "But Vivienne had to ask a friend who he was, telling them: 'I think he's famous in America.'"

He might end up on her radar soon, though; Kanye has announced plans to move to London to complete an apprenticeship at Louis Vuitton, the label he recently collaborated with on a line.
