Giving Paris Hilton a run for her money in the attention-seeking stakes, the duo indulged in a little girl-on-girl smooch at the NME Awards last night.

Unless they just didn't know the camera was there... Yeah, that's probably it... Nothing to do with publicity.

Come on, though, kissing girls is sooooo 2008. Even Katy Perry knows that.
