Cameron Diaz to become an Essex girl

Essex has always been home to some of the UK's most stylish ladies; where would our wardrobes be without Jodie Marsh and Chantelle? Well now Cameron Diaz could be added to the list of locals after reportedly being overheard expressing a desire to buy a house in Basildon.

According to the Daily Mail, the actress is considering buying an English countryside home with her boyfriend, Essex-born model Paul Sculfor. "Paul is keen to have a place in Essex, preferably close to his parents' home in Hornchurch," said a friend. "The couple have already checked out a £2.2 million mansion near Basildon."

Diaz and Sculfor jetted into UK last week for a romantic mini break in Somerset. Perhaps Paul tricked Cam into thinking that was Essex?
