Beyonce Knoles and Jay Z play dress-up for 'Cadillac Records' premiere

Wow! It really did take a second glance to see if Beyonce had any pants on then!

The star pulled out all the stops last night at the premiere of 'Cadillac Records' which is set in the 1950's Chicago and follows the rise of musical greats such as Etta James and Chuck Berry. Naturally, Beyonce stars as Etta James alongside a star studded cast such as Mos Def and Adrien Brody (the cute one with the nose from the Piano).

Clearly taking inspiration from the era, Beyonce's floor length black lace dress is fantastic and flatters her perfectly. Jay Z, not wanting to miss out on the fun also channelled a bit of 'chuck berry geek chic', with tres cool 'geek chic' glasses, and some fantastic brown and black brogues. Hip Hop royalty's newlyweds are certainly hips hop's best dressed couple don't you think?
