Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale promote High School Musical Down Under

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale enjoyed a nice little boat ride in Sydney Harbour this weekend, while they were Down Under promoting High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Vanessa and Ashley were really working the whole 'we're friends both on and off-screen - can you believe it?!' thing, holding hands and, as you can see here, generally invading each other's personal space a lot.

The girls were both wearing a laid-back, casual summer look in Oz. Ashley opted for a short geometric print dress and white pumps, while Vanessa stuck to her favourite gladiator sandals and skinnies with a floaty vest top.

Zac, by contrast, kept a beanie on all day. Which shows just what mischief these young stars get up to when they jet around the world without their parents. Had I tried to leave the house wearing a woolly hat in the height of summer, my mum would have whipped it off in a second. Whilst laughing. Which is never good for the teenage ego.
