Leona Lewis is a loser at the MTV Europe Music Awards

leona-lewis-mtv.jpgShe may be the fourth best-selling artist worldwide at 23, but Leona Lewis has yet to win an MTV gong.

The British singer flew across the pond to attend last night's ceremony in Liverpool and even splashed out £10,000 on her red carpet dress. But she missed out on three awards, having been nominated for best act, best album and best European act.

Knowing Leona though, I'm sure she took it on the chin. And hey, the girl's got a £10,000 pretty pink dress. What's there to be sad about?

    She's also been in Britain for the last two weeks promoting her new single.

    Er, she did win an award. She was the EMA top UK & Ireland act and collected the award on stage. How come all you journalists have been reporting she didn't? I saw it with my own eyes!!!!
