Vanessa Hudgens squeals at Celine Dion

hsmlondon.jpgYes, Vanessa Hudgens, the High School Musical 3 star seemingly so cool, calm and collected here on the red carpet with blank-eyed co-star Zac Efron, apparently squealed like a... mouse? Bat? Seagull? (What kind of creatures squeal?) When she met her idol Celine Dion, according to Showbiz Spy.

"If it wasn't for Celine Dion, I wouldn't actually be singing," gushed Vanessa. "And when I met her she was so sweet and she actually knew me by my first name. She walked past and said 'Bye, Vanessa' and I completely freaked out. I was so excited I think I squealed a bit. Looking back I am so embarrassed."

Hmmm. Let's take a closer look at that. "Walked past". "Bye, Vanessa". Not exactly "Hi, Vanessa, so lovely to meet you, let's stand and chat for a while" is it? Surely "Bye, Vanessa" is only one step up from "shift".

Still, we've got Celine to thank. Without her we'd be High School Musical- less. Can you imagine?
