Sarah Jessica Parker brings back her Sex And The City style

Enough of that slobbing around New York in jeans nonsense - this is what we've been waiting for! The return of Carrie Bradshaw style - hurrah!

Yes, Sarah Jessica Parker attended the opening party for Chanel's Contemporary Art Container in New York City on Tuesday night. And her Sex And The City look was back in force: quirky, a bit OTT (if something can be 'a bit' OTT) and thrown-together in a rather brilliant way.

She was wearing Chanel Resort from head to toe: a silver asymmetric dress, a pink bouclé jacket and two-tone tights, all from its Spring 2009 collection.

And while I say 'head to toe', those shoes of hers are actually Balenciaga.

Well, you can't wear the same designer all over, can you? Whatever would Carrie say?!
