Miley Cyrus is ein Berliner

"Guten Nachmittag, Deutschlaaaand!"

Yes, Miley Cyrus - or Fraulein Hannah Montana, as she's otherwise known - arrived in Germany yesterday.

And here she was promoting her new album Breakout at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, where it seems she'd gatecrashed a children's birthday party. Not sure how else to explain all those balloons.

But no mind: Miley managed to avoid an embarrassing "Ich bin ein Berliner" gaffe, and just looked cute and bang on trend, as they say, in her little pirate boots, skinny trousers and tartan waistcoat.

A casual combination that was only made more casual by the fact that she was standing there with her hands in her pockets. Tsk! Or: Tscha! As the Germans would say.
