Kate Beckinsale lets her hair down at Burberry party

Yes, Kate Beckinsale flew the flag for Britain in LA on Monday night. She was among dozens - yes, dozens! - of stars attending the opening of the new Burberry store in Beverly Hills. And as you can see, got carried away - quite literally - after signing autographs at the end of the night.

As you can also see, she was wearing a slightly 'Victorian orphan'-style Burberry Prorsum dress, black tights, platform shoes - and accessorising the whole lot with deep red nail varnish and a pennant from the French city of Nice. Oh yes, all the kids will be sporting those this Autumn/Winter 08!
