John Mayer accessorises, rock star-style

Here he was arriving at the recording studio yesterday - a new album is on its way, hurrah! - and as you can see, he was sporting his combat stylee outfit, his tattoos, and his buzz cut.

Well, I say "as you can see" - but it's a bit hard to see behind that mixing desk he's carrying, isn't it?

Still, the mixing desk is this season's must-have accessory for any rock star worth his salt.
