David Beckham 'moving to red light district' of Milan

What on earth is he going to do with this surfboard he won in a raffle earlier this year? I don't know much about water sports, but I don't think the Almalfi coast is that good for waves.

But I digress. Because the point is: David Beckham's residence in his new home town - for a few months, anyway - is, apparently, in the red light area. Which is bound to delight Victoria Beckham, of course.

"The LA Galaxy star has reportedly snapped up a multi-million pound luxury apartment right next to one of the cities grittiest areas," reports the Metro. "Amedeo d'Aosta is known as the place where transvestites, pimps, prostitutes and drug dealers dwell. "

"Dwell"? What, like in the 19th century? Well, David would be rather at home in that case, in this chim-chimer-nee waistcoat of his. Let's hope Victoria remembers her bustled dresses when she comes to visit.
