Cheryl Cole celebrates number 1 single by falling over (nearly)
Oops-a-daisy, Cheryl!
Cheryl Cole from Girls Aloud and The X Factor (wow! Two things!) had two big reasons to celebrate on Saturday night: the promise of The Promise, the Girls' new single, being announced as the UK's official number one song, and having a clean sweep on The X Factor, seeing all three of her acts effortlessly progress through to the next round.
Oh, and a third reason. Let's celebrate Cheryl getting through Saturday's show without crying like a big blubbery baby. In an astonishing act of transmogrification, Louis Walsh "became" Cheryl, crying not such much like a baby, but more like a... well, a crying Louis Walsh. Not a pretty sight.
Whereas Cheryl is always a pretty sight. Even when dressed like a zebra with wonky legs. No, I'm not saying Cheryl's legs look wonky; they look lovely; it's just that on Saturday night they had a little trouble holding her up. Oh yes, there are pictures out there of Cheryl falling all over the place. Even, according to the Daily Mail, pics of her exposing too much flesh - as she showed off a barbed wire tattoo etched around her upper thigh. Well, here at Osoblog we have a sense of decorum (sometimes. For people we like. Like Cheryl). So we've picked a "happy" pic rather than a "falling in the gutter" one.
At least Cheryl had some big burly bodyguards with werewolf arms on hand to help her stand up out.
