Cheryl Cole steals the show at the National Television Awards

Because while Nicollette Sheridan may have stolen the show in terms of "ohmigod" red carpet dressing - The X Factor's newest judge Cheryl Cole was certainly the one everyone wanted to see at last night's National Television Awards.

So thank goodness she put in an appearance... in a long green Matthew Williamson gown. In fact, it was two shades of green. So no, don't worry: she hadn't stepped in a big vat of bright green paint. As if!

After the awards, Cheryl and her X Factor co-hosts headed over to Mr Chows for, well, some chow. Here was Cheryl being led by the hand to said restaurant - and thank goodness that gown is nice and billowing. Because after a big fancy party, you really do want to pig out on Chinese, don't you?
