Charlize Theron rocks the red carpet - and the kasbah - in Hollywood

Now, this may be dressing up for the rest of us - but for Charlize Theron, why, it's practically 'stumbling out of bed'.

Normally one for 'wow' looks on the red carpet, Charlize played it down at last night's 'Rock the Kasbah' party in Hollywood. Which was a charity bash for Virgin Unite, hosted by none other than our very own Sir Richard Branson. What with him being in charge of Virgin, an' all.

Still, maybe it's appropriate not to go to OTT for a night which is all about helping those less fortunate. And even a dressing down for Charlize (as it were) is still unbelievably chic, of course.

She was rocking, as they say, a one-shouldered dress (like Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker this week - asymmetry is so A/W08) and matching heels - and also matched her accessories, a sparkling clutch bag and a sparkling pair of drop diamond earrings.

See? Stumbling out of bed - it's easy. When you're Charlize Theron.
