Beyonce promotes new fashion line, brings along mum to help

Yes, here was the delightful Beyonce Knowles at Bloomingdales in New York yesterday. And if you think she looks a little overdressed for a shopping trip, well, you'd be right.

She was, in fact, promoting her latest fashion line 'House of Dereon' - and brought her mother Tina along with her for some moral support. Well, the family that launches fashion lines together, stays together. As the saying goes.

Beyonce's new range is apparently inspired by Cadillac Records. Does that mean all the dresses are black and have a hole in the middle?
