Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu celebrate High School Musical 3 hitting the no.1 spot

Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu attended the Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma last night where their new film High School Musical 3 received a special Alice Nella Citta premiere (that's Alice in the City... some kind of kiddie version of the film festival). And didn't they dress up for the red carpet?! Well, no, not quite.

Corbin just about managed a tie. Ashley started off well (ish) with a blue rose print top she could have borrowed off someone's gran, and then she covered that with a grey leather hoodie that wouldn't look out of place on a robber in Life on Mars. And then we come to those jeans. Well, Ashley, enjoy your trip? Because in those tent legs I bet you had quite a few.

Why can't they learn from their, dare I say, higher achieving fellow pupils? Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron chose to wear the national dress of each country on their Grand Tour (well, not quite, but nearly). So Ashley and Corbin, when in Rome... dress as gladiators.

And cheer up, you two. Your film had a massive weekend, topping the charts in the U.S. and seeing off into second place another seasonal sequel, Saw V.

Yes, American teenagers flocked to see a film supposedly so sick and horrific, ambulances wait on standby to take people of a nervous disposition to hospital.
