Angelina Jolie may quit movies and marry Brad Pitt

What?! No more red carpet appearances?! I mean, erm, in her own right?! Say it isn't so!

But it may indeed be so - after Angelina Jolie revealed her future to the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

"The kids are my priority, so it's possible that from now on I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether," she says. "I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s."

And about tying the knot with a certain Mr Brad Pitt? "Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around the ritual of marriage, children are an afterthought. We did everything backwards," Angelina tells the magazine. "But sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us [to get married]. You know, they see films and start asking questions. Such as, 'Why are Shrek and Fiona married and you're not?''.

Erm, sure. And then they'll ask why you're not big green ugly monsters, too. Does life always have to imitate art?
