Zac Efron to don technicolour dreamcoat in the West End?

An amazing technicolour dreamcoat, colour.

That's right, folks - High School Musical star, actor and beefcake (as you can see) Zac Efron could be heading to London to take over from Lee Mead in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Zac apparently spoke to Andrew Lloyd-Webber about taking the lead role when Lee ends his run in January - and an insider tells the Daily Mirror: "Zac loves the role and is keen to clock up some stage time in London. For Hollywood actors a spell in the West End offers credibility and can be extremely lucrative... It is a marriage made in musical heaven."

And financial - and possibly critical - heaven, too, by the sounds of it. Start getting your tickets for your eight-year-old daughters now, folks!
